thought and execution

two things one must learn: how to execute a quick reset, and how to shrink the gap between having an idea and executing it. these sound obvious, but our brains trick us 99% of the time in the real world. the brain only surrenders when it's time for survival. the problem is, we forget we are always in survival mode—hence the procrastination and what we call 'laziness'. rewiring your brain to choose the tougher path is actually quite simple. you just have to look at your past. if you've been taking the easy route and still haven't achieved what you want, your brain will naturally start craving for a different choice. reducing the time between thought and execution is what i think requires courage. your thoughts are absurd—not to you, but to the rest of the world. but if you trust them enough to act on them immediately, they will absolutely take you places.
